Master Sgt. Bob Woods, Independent Duty Medical Technician, Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, watches a member of the Vanuatu police force perform Basic Life Support techniques on a manikin. Sergeant Woods was part of a team that taught BLS and Self-Aid Buddy Care to Police, immigrations and customs, and paramedics on the Island nation of Vanuatu. The team was part of the Oceania Humanitarian Assistance Mission that brought medical, dental and engineering personnel to perform civil assistance projects on Vanuatu, Kiribati and Nauru.
