A patient is help on to C-17 Globemaster III at Pegasus White Ice Runway, Antarctica Aug. 28, 2007. After completing Operation Deep Freeze winter fly-in the C-17 crew turned around 24-hours later and flew a medical evacuation for a patient that required more definitive medical treatment then Antarctica could handle.
