MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Staff Sgt. Ryan Dickelman holds a stake tightly as Staff Sgt. Michelle Adling pounds down on a stake setting the perimeter of a berm for a water bladder on Oct. 23, 2007 during exercise Beverly Sunrise 08-01. A berm is mound of earth placed to provide protection to vital assets. Sergeants Dickelman and Adling are assigned to the 35th Civil Engineering Squadron.
