EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska-- The air temperature during the second day of the Arctic Survival Training Course held Nov. 15, 2007 shows one degree fahrenheit. The survival course teaches members how to survive in a severe cold climate. The course consists of shelter building, identifying safe food found in nature, how to stay warm, and how to correctly signal for help.
