Remember December 7

The sleek bird-of-prey profile of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber is ready to pounce on any aggressor that threatens the U.S. or allied nations. Members of the B-2 community recently performed a symbolic flyover of Pearl Harbor to mark the anniversary of the Dec. 7, 1941, attack by Japanese Imperial naval and air forces. This attack forced the nation into World War II. President George W. Bush declared December 7 Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day in 2001. The occasion has since been marked by memorials, ceremonies and installation flags lowered to half staff every December 7. (Air Force photo/Senior Airman Brian Kimball)
