Aerial refueling is a large part of the Air Force bomber fleet’s unique capability to strike any target in the world at a time and place of the combatant commander’s choosing. Air Force Reserve aerial refueling squadrons are a major factor for the continued bomber presence operation in the Pacific region and were an enabler for the B-2 to fly the special mission over Pearl Harbor December 7.
