EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airmn David Harbor, 718th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Kadena AFB, instructs the operator of the de-icer on where to blow snow off of a KC-135 Dec. 12, 2007 on the Eielson flightline. Due to the arctic conditions and the continuous snow fall during Alaska's extended winters, Eielson maintainers are on constant standby to assure all aircraft are ready for take-off at moment's notice.
