Proud riflemen

The firing detail stands with their weapons ready at the Linebacker II memorial held here December 18. The firing party, in which each Airman has a fully operational M-1 Garand, fired three rounds each of 7.62mm blank ammunition. This tradition is a proud legacy of American military heritage and is used to mark solemn occasions such as this one. (Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Steven Wilson)
