Sled Dogs

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska--Twenty-seven Siberian husky dogs walk, play, and sit in their kennel after a grueling practice. These 27 dogs race as a team to raise awareness and funds for disabled children. Maj. Blake Matray, 168th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 pilot, operates the Sled Dog Fund, Inc., which is a non-profit organization that support disabled children and their families and finance clinical research on developmental disabilities, hospital programs, and educational programs.
