KORAT ROYAL THAI AIR BASE, Thailand -- Senior Airman Robert Olson (left) and Master Sgt. Joe Ruble (right), 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron of Fort Wainwright, Alaska, go over coordinates for a close air support mission with their counterparts of the Royal Thai Air Force Jan. 26. Airman Olson and Sergeant Ruble are Joint Terminal Attack Controllers and are participating in Exercise Cope Tiger '08, a Thai- and U.S.-sponsored multilateral joint and combined field training exercise, and humanitarian/civic assistance exercise. Cope Tiger enhances combined readiness and interoperability, reinforces U.S. commitment to the Southeast Asian region, and demonstrates our capability to project combined and joint forces strategically in a multilateral environment.
