PACAF fuels civilian retires after over 60 years of service

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii -- Mr. Stanley Zaucha, Pacific Air Forces Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants facilities manager, poses for a photograph in front of a fuel tank here Jan. 20. He's retiring in February 2011 after over 60 years of military and civil service fuels experience that has spanned six military campaigns including the Korean War and Operation Enduring Freedom. As a facilities manager here, Mr. Zaucha has been responsible for managing over 40 military construction projects valued in excess of $500 million.
