JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii -- Pictured here in 1978, U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Stanley Zaucha, was just three years short of retiring from active-duty after 31 years of military service in the Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants career field. During the same month he retired in 1981, Mr. Zaucha was sworn into civil service and would continue on for another 30 years in the fuels career field. Now in February 2011, Mr. Zaucha will be retiring from civil service as a Pacific Air Forces POL facilities manager here. (Submitted photo)
