Pacific Angel - Mongolia

In support of the first Pacific Angel in Mongolia, each morning vans depart from ger base camp with 130 Mongolian, U.S., and Sri Lankan military medical providers, engineers, and support staff, along with Project Hope and interpreters, for one to two-hour bumpy dirt road rides to medical, dental, optometry, veterinary and engineering sites in Delgerkhaan, Jargaltkhaan, and Tsenkhermandal and Ondorkhaan in Hentii province from July 18-23, 2011. Pacific Angels cultivate bonds and foster goodwill between the U.S. and Asian-Pacific countries through capacity-building in humanitarian assistance. In its fourth year, Pacific Angels are planned and executed by at 13th Air Force at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.(Air Force photo/Lt. Col. Tracey Saiki)
