COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - A U.S. C-130 Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, flies a low-level route over Sri Lanka Aug. 25 during Pacific Airlift Rally 2011. Pacific Airlift Rally 2011, a Pacific Air Force sponsored, biennial multilateral tactical military airlift exercise. Members from the Royal Australian Air Force, Sri Lanka Air Force, Royal Malaysian Air Force and U.S. Air Force are participating in the one-week exercise intended to build partnerships and enhance military airlift interoperability and cooperation between the nations of the Asia-Pacific region.
