U.S. Air Force Veterinarian Maj. Douglas Riley from the 13th Air Force International Health, Hickam AFB, HI tries to corral some water buffalo into a pen so he can examine them on Sept. 22, for PACIFIC ANGEL 11-2: in Fuiloro, Timor-Leste. Maj. Riley is helping the Timor-Leste animal heath program with the initiation of Brucellosis and Tuberculosis. The Falintil For'as de Defesa de Timor-Leste, U.S. Air Force and Australian International Stabilization Forces are conducting PACIFIC ANGEL 11-2: Timor-Leste, a joint humanitarian and civic-military operation at the childrens school. PACIFIC ANGEL consists of several concurrent civil-military assistance activities including medical programs consisting of: dental, optometry, women's health, general medicine, engineering programs and subject matter expert exchanges in public health education and veterinary education.
