EOD Airman returns to Hawaii with Purple Heart

Madison Dutton waits for her daddy, Staff Sgt. DJ Dutton, to arrive home at the Honolulu International Airport Oct. 16 following a deployment to Afghanistan. Dutton, an explosive ordnance disposal technician deployed from the 647th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, was wounded by an improvised explosive device Sept. 14 in Afghanistan.
