U.S. Airmen assigned to Operation PACIFIC ANGEL 12-2 meet with local medical and government officials of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, April 18, at the Lao-Mongolian Friendship Hospital in Phonsavahn, Laos. The Airmen discussed the upcoming execution of the PACANGEL mission in Laos, which will consist of medical care, civil engineering projects, and subject matter expertise exchanges between the two nations. PACANGEL is a joint and combined humanitarian operation in its fifth year. The PACANGEL 12-2 mission is set to occur April 23-28, at numerous sites in the Phonsavahn area.
