COMPACAF welcomes foreign Air Attaché Association leaders

Lt. Col. Anthony Deichert, chief of chaplains, briefs the Gathering Place mission and purpose to spouses from the foreign Air Attaché Association, at the Gathering Place, a comfortable alcohol- and smoke-free home-like environment where young Airmen can socialize with their peers at the Hickam dormitories, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Oct. 9, 2012. Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, U.S. Air Force assistant vice chief of staff, hosted the tour which is meant to showcase how the U.S. Air Force conducts business. The tour for the spouses highlighted how PACAF houses its forces, develops Airmen’s dependent children and cares for wounded members, common topics among the world’s militaries.
