An F-22 Raptor, representing Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, demonstration team, and F-16 Fighting Falcons, representing Misawa Air Base, Japan, demonstration team, enter Australian territory after being refueled by a KC-135 Stratolifter from Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan Feb. 22, 2013. The jets are part of the Australian International Airshow 2013, which is scheduled for Feb. 26 to March 3, and is the largest biennial and international trade show in the Pacific. Approximately 220 U.S. service members along with the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor, C-17 Globemaster III, F-16 Fighting Falcon, B-52 Stratofortress, and KC-135 Stratotanker are supporting the AIA13, which allows a unique opportunity for the United States to showcase its aviation prowess and strengthen military-to-military ties with our Pacific allies and partners.
