Tech. Sgt. Ronald J. Giannetti from the 15th Operations Support Squadron is the Pacific Air Forces recipient of the 2013 Non-Commissioned Officers Association Vanguard Award for rescuing a teenage girl who collapsed and was having a seizure while hiking Manana Trail. Giannetti provided aid for the teen and coordinated rescue efforts to get the teen back to safety. The Air Force level Vanguard Award is expected to be announced in the near future.
