Twenty-nine members from the Air National Guard and active duty Air Force from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam teamed up to perform a F-22 Raptor barrier re-certification at Wake Island June 21-24, 2013. The four-day rapid F-22 deployment to Wake Island enhanced the readiness of the total force team from the 15th Wing and the Air National Guard’s 154th Wing. Pacific Air Force’s overarching goal is to promote regional stability by deterring aggression, being prepared to respond to a wide variety of contingency operations, and protecting the U.S. and our allies.
