Hickam AFB welcomes its final C-17
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii – Turning on it's way to the reviewing stand in preparation for its official Hawaiian welcome and blessing, Team Hickam welcomed the last of its eight C-17 Globemaster III aircraft today. PACAF provides airlift to peacekeeping operation
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Master Sgt. Mike Cumberland, a C-17 loadmaster with the 535th Airlift Squadron, Hickam AFB Hawaii, measures a tie-down chain to ensure a Halvorsen aircraft pallet loader is safely secured prior to a strategic airlift mission May 25. C-17 Four Ship
C-17 Globemaster III pilots conduct a pre flight briefing May 16, 2006 before flying a 4-ship airdrop training mission. The pilots are from the 535th Airlift Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. The 4-ship training provides multi-element training for the pilots enables users to get larger amounts of equipment in a short period of time and maintains aircrew proficiency.
