U.S. Air Force communication personnel from the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Directorate of Air and Cyberspace Operations and the 291st Combat Communications Squadron pose alongside communication personnel from the Philippine Air Force 950th Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Group upon completion of a subject matter expert exchange during Bilateral Air Contingent Exchange-Philippines (BACE-P) at Cesar Basa Air Base, Philippines, January 30, 2019. The exchange included a demonstration of how to operate and install a satellite terminal as well as how to extend network services from a home base to an austere location. This is the seventh iteration of BACE-P established by U.S. Pacific Command and executed by Headquarters PACAF. Philippine Air Force 950th Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Group communication personnel practice using a pocket transit and slide rule to align satellite during Bilateral Air Contingent Exchange-Philippines (BACE-P) at Cesar Basa Air Base, Philippines, January 30, 2019. The bilateral exchange conducted with U.S. Air Force communication personnel from the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Directorate of Air and Cyberspace Operations and the 291st Combat Communications Squadron included a demonstration of operation and installation of a satellite terminal as well as the ability to extend network services from a home base to an austere location.
