U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nicholas Scheerer, electrician from18th Civil Engineer Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, and Sgt. 1st Class Sen Khaan Khemrith, electrician from Engineering High Command, Phnom Penh, install light switches during Operation Pacific Angel 13-5 Cambodia at the health center in Nhaeng Nhang Sept. 9, 2013. Scheerer and Khemrith are working on rewiring the entire health center. This is the first day of the six-day operation. Thirty-six U.S. forces and Royal Cambodia Armed Forces worked together on three health centers during engineering civil action programs. PACANGEL is a joint and combined humanitarian assistance operation held in various countries several times a year and includes medical, dental, optometry, and engineering support programs and various subject-matter expert exchanges.
