210 Rescue Squadron gains hands-on training during RF-A 16-2

Alaska Air National Guard Airmen assigned to the 210th Rescue Squadron (RQS) Detachment 1, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, conduct training with an HH-60 Pave Hawk June 9, 2016, in the Joint Pacific Alaskan Range Complex.  The HH-60 Pave Hawk is a modified version of the U.S. Army UH-60A Black Hawk, it's primary mission is to perform rescue operations day or night to retrieve personnel from hostile environments.  Along with providing Alert support for Eielson Air Force Base the 210th RQS also provides assistance to the U.S. Coast Guard, Alaskan State Troopers, and National Park Service.
