U.S. Air Force, ROKAF conduct exercise Vigilant Ace 16, Nov. 1-7

Approximately 16,000 U.S. service members will participate in exercise Vigilant Ace 16 next week, from Nov. 1-7.

The flying exercise is regularly scheduled training designed to enhance interoperability between U.S. and Republic of Korea forces and increase the combat effectiveness of both nations.

U.S. F-16, F-15 and A-10 aircraft will participate in the exercise, alongside ROKAF F-15K and KF-16 aircraft.

Vigilant Ace 16 highlights the longstanding military partnership, commitment and enduring friendship between two nations, helps to ensure peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, and reaffirms the U.S. commitment to stability in the Northeast Asia region.
