Ten C-130 Hercules aircraft, assigned the 36th Airlift Squadron here, took part in a training exercise designed to test Yokota Air Base’s ability to perform large formation flights and essential airlift capabilities.

As Yokota is the primary airlift hub in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, the training tested the wing’s large-force employment and tactics which are essential to regional security and stability.

The U.S.-Japan Alliance lays the foundation for training such as this and is the cornerstone of U.S. engagement in the region.
