Melanie McLean 15th Airlift Wing Public Affairs HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- One Airmen returned from her four month deployment to more than just a hug and a kiss at the Air Mobility Terminal May 23rd. Tech. Sgt. Nancy LeVerich, 15th Communications Squadron, was met by long-time boyfriend, Master Sgt. Guy Geroux, 15th Communications Squadron, with a ring and a marriage proposal. "I've waited seven years," she said with a chuckle. "I definitely say yes." While Sergeant LeVerich was deployed, Master Sergeant Geroux was diagnosed with colon cancer. She said he's doing much better. "I was so worried I was never going to see him again," said Sergeant LeVerich. He's my best friend...my strength." After linger hugs, a few tears and non-stop smiles from the couple, "I know I want to be with her forever," said Master Sergeant Geroux.
