Family Day schedule for 2008 announced

HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii --  The Family Day schedule for 2008 was recently announced by the Pacific Air Forces commander.

The following dates will be designated as PACAF Family Days for calendar year 2008:
23 May 08, 3 Jul 08, 29 Aug 08, 28 Nov 08, 26 Dec 08, 2 Jan 09

Civilians are encouraged to take annual leave or use accrued compensatory time on these days.

"I want our Total Force Airmen and their families to realize how much their dedicated service and continual sacrifice to our great Nation is appreciated," said Gen. Paul V. Hester, PACAF Commander.

"Our strength lies in our Airmen! We belong to a flexible and responsive workforce, ready and able to deploy to protect the theater and the nation's interests! Family days provide a safe opportunity for those on home-station to take some well-deserved time to relax with family and friends," he said.
