Airmen provide relief in Bangladesh
Staff Sgt. Robert C. Ward, a combat mobility team member with the 15th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, unloads an Interagency Emergency Health Kit from a U.S. Marine KC-130 Hercules aircraft in Dhaka, Bangladesh Nov. 24. The IEHK contains essential medicines and medical devices necessary to support the health needs of 10,000 people for three months. The KC-130 arrived loaded with the IEHK and other humanitarian supplies. The U.S. Air Force is assisting U.S. military efforts as part of a United States response in support of the Bangladeshi government’s request for assistance following the devastation caused by Cyclone Sidr.
