Their 2009 contributions include supplying $8K worth of uniforms, boots and accessories to military members island-wide; $66K to the Okinawa Enlisted Spouse Club; and $89K in toys, clothes and shoes for distribution to needy families all over the world. "The thrift store saves a lot of money for Airmen and their families to have things they couldn't afford," said Brig. Gen. Ken Wilsbach, 18th Wing commander. "The service provided for the Airmen is greatly appreciated." The thrift store is looking for volunteers to ensure its continued success. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Rey Ramon)
