613th AOC captain awarded top Air Force honor

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii -- Capt. Theresa A. Nix, from the 613th Air and Space Operations Center here, was presented the 2009 Outstanding Individual Reservist of the Year Award in the Company Grade Officer category during a ceremony at the National Reserve Officer Association conference in Washington, D.C., Feb. 9.

The captain, an intelligence officer who joined the Air Force in 2002, attributes her achievement to the humanitarian work she has done during her career. Captain Nix is a dedicated member of her community and is an active member of the Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship.
