Okinawa in Typhoon Condition-2

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- The 18th Wing Commander today placed the island of Okinawa in Typhoon Condition-2. This means destructive winds of 50 knots or greater (about 58 mph) may occur within 24 hours.
