Base chapel celebrates the holiday season

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 8th Fighter Wing base chapel hosted events Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 to kick off the holiday season at Kunsan Air Base. The events included a Christmas-tree -lighting ceremony, which included a holiday greeting card contest, a band and a visit by Santa Claus.

The chapel also held a holiday party for the Little Sisters of the Poor elderly home near the base Dec. 4. Volunteers from around the base went with the chapel staff to decorate the home, serve lunch and entertain the residents.
