Airmen from the 36th Airlift Squadron at Yokota Air Base, Japan flew a special group of news media representatives aboard a C-130 Hercules Dec. 6.

The trip was part of a media day the reporters had, which started with an interview with Col. Paul "Otto" Feather, 374th Airlift Wing commander.

Following the interview, more than a dozen representatives boarded the C-130 where they were treated to a low-level, nap-of-the-Earth flight in the mountains near Tokyo. The flight wrapped up with a simulated airdrop over the airfield at Yokota.

The next part of the flight took the reporters to the Sea of Japan, where they observed some fighter escort operations before returning to Yokota.
