Across the board, inspectors called the 735th Air Mobility Squadron "outstanding" after a week-long Logistics Compliance Assessment Program Dec. 6 to 10, 2010.

The purpose of the LCAP is to provide Air Mobility Command A4 (logistics) and unit leadership at all levels with an evaluation of a unit's ability to perform key logistics processes in a safe, standardized, repeatable and technically compliant manner.

"In all, we passed nearly 400 personal evaluations where inspectors stand over and watch aerial port or aircraft maintenance personnel perform core mission tasks," said Capt. Mark Klohr, 735th AMS Aerial Port Operations Officer. "We had zero detected safety violations and just one unsatisfactory condition report (UCR), which is excellent."

It was more than excellent to inspectors, who said the 735th was one of the best aerial port squadrons in the Pacific.

The 735th AMS is one of six geographically-separated Pacific air mobility squadrons which fall under the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing, headquartered here.

"The biggest compliment that I can give you right now is the fact that I have the utmost confidence that tomorrow morning or evening -- it doesn't matter what shift -- that I know that you guys will be bringing your 'A' game, taking care of business," said Col. Stephen Oliver Jr., 515th AMOW commander. "There's not going to be any mentality that 'the inspection is done, so now we can go back to the way we do business' -- because the way you do business every day is outstanding. My hat's off to you."
