The 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base, Korea, celebrated the close of a very successful operational readiness inspection with a block party April 15.

After having received an overall rating of "Excellent" from the Pacific Air Force's Inspector General, Col. John Dolan, 8th FW commander, authorized a celebration for a job well done. The block party included events such as bowling and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, live bands, softball, a dunk tank and more.

"We have a very focused mission, and we have practiced this mission from the day you've been assigned to the Wolf Pack," said Colonel Dolan. "You need to be proud of what you've done this year. You need to be extremely proud for the service you're doing for not only the United States of America in defending and supporting the constitution of the U.S., but also for being stationed here at Kunsan."
