Successful fund-raising celebrated at Osan

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Airmen at Osan Air Base, Korea, participated in a 5K "fun-run" and "foreign object damage" walk around the flightline here May 6.

The run and FOD walk were sponsored by Air Force Assistant Fund coordinators. The event was held to celebrate the conclusion of an exceptionally successful fund raiser that brought in more than $131,000 this year for the fund.

The Air Force Assistance Fund was established to provide for an annual effort to raise funds for the charitable affiliates that provide support to the Air Force family (active duty, retirees, reservists, guard and their dependents, including surviving spouses) in need.
