The Wolf Pack came together in memory of a fallen brother-in-arms at Kunsan Air Base's chapel May 10.

Tech. Sgt. Jeremy Gamache, former member of the 8th Security Forces Squadron, passed away at the age of 30 in an automobile accident just one day after arriving home from his two-year tour at Kunsan AB.

"Sergeant Gamache had a lot to do with bringing our CATM [Combat Arms Training and Maintenance] section up to standards and really set the base populace up with his superior teaching," said Lt. Col. Mark Anarumo, 8th SFS commander. "He was also very involved in many off-base activities, including the chapel and sports teams."

Noting a security forces tradition, the ceremony included the security forces prayer:

"Lord, you have called us to be guardians of a nation founded on your principles. Whatever our tasks as Security Force men and women, we do them to serve you and our nation. We are proud to accept the responsibility of this high calling. We dedicate ourselves to our vocation, and ask for guidance and courage in aiding our people to live with dignity, in safety and peace. We know true security comes from your presence, so we pray with the Psalmist: You bless those who obey You, Lord; your love protects them like a shield. Use us, O Lord, as shields for your people, reflecting your security and peace."

"He was a great squadron member and friend to all of us," Colonel Anarumo said of Sergeant Gamache, adding that he would be missed and remembered by all those he touched at Kunsan AB.
