KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The 8th Maintenance Group at Kunsan Air Base, Korea, provides on- and off-equipment maintenance on F-16 Fighting Falcons. The group also provides munitions, aircraft maintenance and maintenance operations support.

Squadrons assigned to the 8th MXG are the 8th Maintenance Squadron, the 8th Maintenance Operations Squadron and the 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. The 8th MXG is responsible for daily flying and maintenance operations, intermediate level maintenance, component repair and maintenance training for the Wing's 36 primary assigned aircraft.
