Pacific Angel-Mongolia is a new phase of a combined humanitarian assistance operation that is led by the 13th Air Force out of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.  This is the fourth year of Pacific Angel, but it is the first time the operation has been hosted in Mongolia. The operation helps cultivate common bonds and foster goodwill between the United States, Mongolia and other regional nations.

In addition to veterinary training, a clinic is being refurbished and medical outreach events are being held in Ondorkhan, Delgerkhaan and Tsenkhermandal soums of the Hentii province from July 18-23, 2011.

[A soum is a division similar to a county.]
