Joint, combined team make first-ever Pac Angel - Mongolia a success

As part of the first Pacific Angel operation in Mongolia, U.S. Air Force and Mongolian Army military engineers work side-by-side with local contractors to repair and renovate a clinic for Mongolian Armed Forces veterans and retirees in Tsenkermandal village from 17-23 July, 2011.
 
A joint and combined team of 130 Mongolian, U.S., and Sri Lankan military medical providers, engineers, and support staff, along with Project Hope and interpreters, are providing health screenings, veterinary, and engineering projects in Tsenkermandal, Delgerkhaan, and Jargaltkhaan remote villages and in Ondorkhaan city in Hentii province.

Pacific Angel operations cultivate bonds and foster goodwill between the U.S. and Asian-Pacific countries through capacity-building in humanitarian assistance. In its fourth year, Pacific Angels are planned and executed by at 13th Air Force at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
