Steak Team Mission provides "Wolf Pack" with hearty meal

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  Three pallets carrying more than 2,800 pounds of steak from Texas-- more than 1,500 individual steaks -- arrived at Kunsan Air Base Aug. 18. The steaks, provided by Steak Team Mission, were cooked to order Aug. 25  and served until they ran out.

The Steak Team Mission not only sent the meat, but also volunteered to cook the steaks for members of the Wolf Pack as a gesture of appreciation for their service. The steaks were served along with coleslaw, cornbread and baked beans, all free of charge to Kunsan Airmen.

Steam Team Mission is a non-profit Dallas-based group that provides food and supplies for military men and women as a means of thanking them for their service to the country .
