Kunsan Airmen visit local hospital, share knowledge

The 8th Medical Group's leadership team visited Wonkwang University Hospital in Iksan, Republic of Korea here recently to share capabilities and continue a long-standing tradition designed to develop lasting professional and personal relationships with their Korean counterparts.

Kunsan's medics met with the executive staff of Wonkwang Hospital for a tour of their facility and received a brief discussing the hospital's capabilities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Col Alvis Headen, 8th MDG commander, said, "We refer over 1,500 patient visits a year to Wonkwang Hospital and we have come to depend on the compassionate care delivered by the staff at Wonkwang University Hospital."

Headen also expressed the importance of continuing to build the partnership between Wonkwang Hospital and the 8th MDG, "As we deliver world-class healthcare to the Wolf-Pack."
