Liberty Fest celebrates America's 236th

An A-10 Thunderbolt II assigned to the 25th Fighter Squadron at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, was on display during Liberty Fest July 4, 2012. Lighting from the main stage illuminated the backdrop when darkness fell, but it was only as a precursor to the fireworks crescendo. Liberty Fest celebrates America's 236th

When darkness fell during Liberty Fest at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, the 51st Force Support Squadron passed out light sticks for people to wear. Some children -- like Aimee Sutton, daughter of Lt. Col. Richard and Janene Sutton -- looped the lights into wearable art and danced around to the music of LRD before the fireworks display. OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Team Osan gathered on the flightline during Liberty Fest, July 4, 2012, to celebrate America's 236th anniversary as a nation. Several Korean entertainers - a percussion band, string and flute trio, a dance troupe, and the folk group - performed during the Liberty Fest activities.
