The Wolf Pack continues to train to take the fight North as the second full day of exercise Beverly Midnight 13-3 comes to a close, Aug. 6, 2013. Early in the day a group of F-16 Fighting Falcons from both the 80th and 35th Fighter Squadrons took flight in rapid succession, further displaying their ability to respond during a wartime scenario. Adapting to and overcoming obstacles was the theme for later in the day, when simulated ground attacks forced base leadership to move to and operate out of a different location.

Exercise Evaluation Teams test elements of wartime operations and how efficiently service members activate and respond to enemy forces.

The base's day-to-day operations are carried out along with the base exercises to provide realistic training environments mimicking wartime operations. These exercises include self-aid and buddy care, evacuations, par-sweeps, mass casualty response, aircraft generation and mission oriented protective posture training.
