U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Hunter Stom, 35th Civil Engineer Squadron structural journeyman, sets up a core drill at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug. 8, 2013. A core drill is used to create holes for pipes, manholes, and other large-diameter penetrations in concrete or stone. After a hole is made by the drill, conduit will be run to house fiber optic cables. Once the cable is installed, the 35 CES Integrated Industrial Control System shop will have basic control over the new Energy Management Control System.(U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Kia Atkins)
