Keeping Max Thunder safe
Master Sgt. Chad Parker, 8th Fighter Wing weapons safety manager, ensures a safe installation of defensive measures on a U.S. Marine Corps F-18 Hornet prior to flying a Max Thunder sortie at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 4, 2013. Wing safety staff worked side-by-side with Marine Corps counterparts to ensure not only a successful exercise, but a safe one. Max Thunder exercises foster bilateral aerial training between the Korea Air Power Team, which includes the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps and the Republic of Korea air force.
