Tug offloads in Anchorage for Alaska Shield
The Scholarie ST-905 is offloaded from the USNS Mendonca, a large cargo ship, during Alaska Shield 2014 in Anchorage, Alaska, March 27, 2014. The U.S. Army has several small tugs that can transport supplies to shore when port facilities are inoperative, degraded, or otherwise unavailable.
