COMPACAF speaks at F-100F Super Sabre dedication ceremony
U.S. Air Force Gen. Lori J. Robinson, Pacific Air Forces commander, speaks during an F-100F Super Sabre aircraft dedication ceremony, Ford Island, Hawaii, Oct. 30, 2014. The F-100F is a two-seat supersonic jet fighter used extensively by forward air controls during the Vietnam War. The FACs, famously known by their call sign Misty, used specialized tactics and the fast F-100F to locate and mark targets for other aircraft to hit. This F-100F was recently acquired and restored prior to its dedication at the Pacific Aviation Museum. (U.S. Air Force by photo by Tech. Sgt. James Stewart/Released)
